  2. May 2025Big Island, HawaiʻiMother-daughter trip to Hawaiʻi — volcanoes, green sand beaches, and a nightime drive to the summit of Mauna Kea.
  3. July 2025ThailandAn APRU Program in Bangkok, and then island-hopping Koh Tao and Koh Phangan!
  4. August 2025Hong KongA crazy 20-hour layover involving a trip to The Peak and an almost-missed flight!
  5. Sep–Dec 2025New York, New YorkA four-month internship in the city that never sleeps — skyscrapers, Central Park, and endless food spots with friends from all over.
  6. February 2026Chertsey, QuebecFamily Day weekend at the prettiest little chalet.
  7. May 2026Madeira, Portugal6 days in Madeira and 2 in Lisbon...lots of hiking and exploring and driving through the hilly roads.
  8. June 2026Shenzhen, ChinaParticipating in the APRU Robotics and AI program in Shenzhen!
  9. July 2026Calgary, AlbertaWent to visit a friend who's on co-op in Calgary. This involved a fun Friday night out on 8th Avenue,an early-morning breakfast with my 'travel parents' from Ecuador, a whole day of Stampede events (and weird food-truck foods),and a wonderful Sunday moseying around Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
  10. August 2026Tofino, British ColumbiaConquering the infamous 5040 Peak and trying surfing for the first time in Tofino!
  11. August 2026Kazakhstan & UzbekistanAlmaty first, with trips to Shymbulak and Charyn Canyon. Then one flight and train ride later, we were in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. And after that we spent the last few days exploring Tashkent.
  12. Sep–Dec 2026Barcelona, SpainExchange semester in Barcelona incoming! Four months in the European city that never sleeps.
  13. September 2026Vienna & BratislavaTwo days in the jaw-dropping city of Vienna, and then a lovely day in Bratislava :)
  14. September 2026MaltaBetween the Mediterranean sea, constantly-upkept limestone cities, octopus, and some fascinating history lessons, Malta was a blast.
