Madeira, Portugal

Sitting on the terrace of our Airbnb and splitting a bottle of wine every evening as we watched Funchal's lights twinkle.

Ribeira de Janela - we stumbled upon this completely by accident and the views were breathtaking.

Rent a car and plan by sections of the island to avoid going back and forth. Also, prepare for a leg workout every day - stairs everywhere.
